About me

I am 42 years old and I'm living in Berlin - Schöneberg (Germany).

Private

At the moment I'm sitting completely isolated in my home office.
I stored food and hygiene items for about 1 or 2 months.
So I don't have to go outside.
Since I suffer from COPD, I belong to the risk group in relation to the corona virus.

In the event that I have to leave the apartment,
I bought 5 respirators and about 1000 disposable gloves.
I have limited social contacts to the virtual.
You can write to me, give me a call or communicate with me via webcam.
Real meetings are just too dangerous for me in the current situation

Work & Education

June 2019 - Now

IT Support @ Getronics

IT SUPPORT ANALYST

I am currently working as an IT support analyst at Getronics in Berlin. You can find more information about my employer at the following link: Getronics.com

December 2017 - June 2019

Temp job at Allgeier Experts Pro

IT SUPPORT ANALYST

With Allgeier Experts Pro I was placed at Getronics and successfully taken over after 18 months. I don't regret doing this job because it got my current job.

2015 - 2017

1st and 2nd Level IT Support @ Sellbytel

Shared Service Desk

I was pretty disappointed when I got this job, but I could not find a job as a programmer. Almost all programmer job offers required at least 3 years experience and I just passed my exam. I needed a job so I started the work at Sellbytel. I worked in many projects until I started at the Shared Service Desk. After that I let my contract expire because I was completely dissatisfied with the company.

2013 - 2015

Retraining as Specialised Computer Scientist Subject Software Development

Passed the IHK exam

I did the retraining at the Gesellschaft für Personalentwicklung und Bildung mbH, Berlin. I've never studied so hard in such a short time. I passed the IHK exam with the following grades:

Execution and documentation of a workplace project assignment: satisfactory,
Presentation of company project assignment with discussion on the subject: satisfactory,
Integrated task I: satisfactory,
Integrated task II: satisfactory,
Economics and social studies: good

2009 - June 2013

Customer Service Agent

Many telefon jobs

In this time I had many different call center jobs. When I was approved for requalification, I moved to Berlin. My bilateral tinnitus and my tennis elbow surgery were good enough arguments for the Federal Employment Agency.

July 1994 - June 2009

Very hard jobs

Welder, glazier, forklift driver

I had very demanding jobs as welder, forklift driver, glazier and production assistant in various companies. In between jobs I did community service as a caretaker in a retirement home and worked as a bouncer in a large disco in Herford. The things one has to do when one becomes a father with 19.
