How to play

Play your country's fixtures. The other games are simulated after each matchday. The top two teams in each group qualify for the knockout stage.

Each match has two halves and a change of ends. Tied knockout matches go to two extra-time periods, then penalties. In a shootout, pick your shot or dive direction and press D.

Group ranking: points, goal difference, goals scored, head-to-head results, then a pre-drawn lot. Three points for a win, one for a draw.

Touch controls appear on touch devices. Desktop or landscape orientation gives you the best view. Progress is saved after full time; reloading restarts an unfinished fixture.
